Massive Construction Development Abu Dhabi 2008

Abu Dhabi is witnessing a enomorous amount of developing with total projects worth over Dhs 460 billion($125.3 billion). Aldar, the largest developer here in Abu Dhabi, has 3 massive projects: Al Raha area, Yas Island with it's Formula One (F1) racetrack and the downtown rebuilding of the Central Market.  Some other key developers are Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) with it's huge Saadiyat Island project, Louvre and Guggenheim museums (the models are on display at the Emirates Palace) as well as Bridgeway, Emirates Pearl, Grand Corniche, Eastern Mangroves. 

And of course all the construction going on Al Reem Island. Surouh, Tamouh and many other smaller developers have towers being constructed. The area near Zayed Sports Center will also bear huge new developments: Danet and Zayed Bay launced by Al Qudra, Abu Dhabi's Municipality: Emerald Gateway and Mubadala & CapitaLand's joint venture project yet to be named.
